Snapmaker 2.0 Damper Foot

$0.00

This is a design I came up with while scrolling through Thingiverse and realized there wasn’t a great design I liked for damping the vibrations the printer makes while it is printing. It can get pretty loud too without any sound-reducing materials. It makes the printer very stable still so you don’t lose any stability. I also ordered some 40mm balls off of Amazon to place in there snuggly. I’ll add the link later if you want it. I printed this with support for the top layer that holds the foot in place. I used a .2mm Z distance with the support so I got a nice flat top surface on the connecting side of the foot. If you print it well you don’ even really have to use the bolts to keep it in place but I recommend it. It can slide out if you have some aggressively fast prints which makes the bed move quite quickly. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll try to get back to you as soon as possible.
